M/View for AFP

Product Descripton

For on-screen display of AFP data streams, a special AFP viewer is required. Serie M/ offers AFP as an optional output format, and M/View for AFP is included with this functional module. This proprietary AFP viewer can display AFP print data streams and offers basic document editing functions such as deleting or rearranging elements.

In addition, it was designed as a standalone tool and can be used independently under Windows (without Serie M/) to display and edit any AFP data streams.

Product Functionality

Choose between a detailed view and a simplified view
Select the character set for decoding text in relevant elements such as PTX, NOP, etc.
The Properties view displays the properties of the selected element
“Data” elements in the Properties view can be displayed in HEX or as decoded text
Edit AFP data: delete or move structural elements
External resources are also taken into account if they are located in a defined folder

System requirements

Further Information

Note: You may specify the Java version to be used when starting the viewer, in case you have several versions installed on your system. To do so, pass the parameter “-vm “ (e.g. afpviewer.exe -vm “C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-11.0.16.1\bin”) when calling the program.
